The Role

With a base of clients nationwide, we'll look to you to focus on expansion while keeping us cutting edge and on top of the pile. As a DT evangelist, you will spread the good word about our unique services and share how we have helped relieve our clients of their talent acquisition pain. The good news is we really are different. We're not just another RPO provider, our RPI (Recruitment Partner Insourcing) model allows us to service a high volume of KEY positions, not just low-level positions serviced by traditional RPO. Our recruitment model offers:
  • Control - we work hand in hand with our clients and share all search details real-time via a technology dashboard.
  • Minimal commitment - contractual commitments are kept to a minimum.
  • Scalability - we work on-demand, scaling efforts up and down as client needs dictate.
  • Seasoned expertise - our recruiters and sourcers are 100% US based, seasoned professionals.
  • Targeted marketing - our writing team develops materials positioning clients as employer of choice and their openings as opportunities of choice.
  • Quality controls - ours is a Six Sigma-inspired process, with built-in efficiencies that ensure speed, quality and low cost.
To be a good fit for this position, you will be able to hit the ground running with 10-20 years of successful sales experience within the talent management space, including selling at the C-level. You should also be well connected within the industry, and always current on the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices. While most sales executives are on the road up to 80% of the time, the amount of travel in this role will be determined by you. We'll give you the budget to travel as much as you want, or as little as you want - after all, our sales cycle can sometimes be as short as a 15 minute conversation! You know your optimal modus operandi and you'll have the freedom to exploit your sales style for success.

You will help shape this newly created role moving forward; in fact, your impact will permeate the entire company. Right out of the gate you'll focus on sharing our RPO solution with potential clients at medium and large companies across the country, companies you have identified through thoughtful market research and networking.

While we'll look to you to contribute to strategy, we believe your network -- which should position you only a couple degrees of separation from virtually any prospect you've identified to target -- and our portfolio of successful case studies will make a powerful combination. Account management will not be part of your role (you'll transition new projects to our COO for execution), but we will look to you to expand our relationships with existing clients.

Although we are targeting RPO clients with annual contracts in the high six to low seven figure ranges, we often launch a pilot project with a potential RPO client immediately based on the first conversation, due to the flexibility of our model. This means you'll enjoy a mix of shorter and longer sales cycles.

Keys to Success

We have found that chaining through networks, referrals, and contacts, simply sharing Decision Toolbox's results with targeted companies is a sales formula that really works. While RPO is hot right now, we think you'll run into a number of potential clients who aren't actively shopping for RPO -- until they see what DT can do. In addition, in order to be an outstanding Strategic Account Executive, you will:
  • Bring a highly responsive and resourceful approach to the needs, requests, and issues of clients and potential clients.
  • Leverage your creativity not only in finding high potential new clients, but also in going up against bigger, flashier competitors.
  • Take the time, when we don't land a deal, to understand why, and leverage that understanding moving forward.
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves to achieve your objectives; you'll sit at the leadership table, but no one on the leadership team has an assistant.
  • Remain flexible as you engage in the entrepreneurial, collaborative, give-and-take style of our leadership team.
