Your Role
Delighting the clientYou will lead a large engagement team of 10 to 15 recruiters, sourcers and coordinators with an overall mission of meeting and exceeding client expectations. You may have a peer leading another team of about the same size. While you will interact with the client on occasion, your primary focus will be internal, ensuring day-to-day deliverables are met. We'll look to you to maintain and model a culture of operational excellence, clearly living and articulating the values of E2E RS. You'll use the Extreme Service Hierarchy method (accuracy, timeliness, responsiveness, proactivity and mutual learning) to build quality relationships internally and externally. We'll train you in this method.
Driving performance excellence
Specific responsibilities will fall into three main areas. In the area of team management, you will:
- Oversee and support your team in all recruiting operations delivery, including sourcing, screening, and coordination functions
- Coach and mentor your team to meet day-to-day performance goals and objectives
- Maximize the use of E2E RS' resources to meet goals
- Assume responsibility for hiring, performance management and career development of the EOMs
- Monitor and manage to recruiting metrics and analytics such as time to fill, speed, aging, cost per hire, candidate and hiring leader satisfaction surveys, recruiter productivity/funnel ratios, etc.
- Establish regular communications with team members in a virtual model, such as 1-on-1 meetings, team meetings with established agendas or other regular touch points
- Oversee the development of comprehensive hiring strategies, including passive candidate outreach, recruitment marketing plans and utilization of cutting-edge recruitment technologies
- Develop and oversee innovative programs, events and campaigns to build candidate pipeline and drive recruiting strategy to meeting hiring goals
- Lead the development of and support recruitment process needs for the client
- Establish, monitor and manage to metrics/KPIs, and provide regular reports to the Recruiting Project Manager
- Manage to the engagement budget
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure standard operating procedures are being followed
- Effectively work as part of our internal client engagement team to share best practices and drive organizational initiatives
- Handle additional duties as assigned
- Support the Recruiting Project Manager in serving as a strategic partner in all aspects of recruitment
- Partner with internal E2E RS teams and to ensure successful implementation of new processes
- Work with the Recruiting Project Manager and other internal resources to ensure execution of strategic account plans in partnership with client HR and key stakeholders
- Attend client meetings as requested and support the Recruiting Project Manager in preparing annual and quarterly business reviews
- Resolve escalated issues as needed
Your Background
Specific experience and knowledge will be essential, of course, but just as important will be a strong sense of values and a robust work ethic. To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Recruiting Manager opportunity, you will have:- 5+ years’ results-oriented leadership experience in talent acquisition
- Experience directly managing teams, both virtual and on-site, in a corporate talent acquisition function, either in-house or in an RPO environment
- Solid skills in both project and budget management
- Experience managing and communicating up to multiple stakeholders
- Strong technical savvy, including:
- Experience using recruitment technologies such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and social media tools
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- A continuous improvement mindset
- General knowledge of employment law, including an understanding of and ability to work within EEOC anti-discrimination guidelines.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, PMP or Six Sigma are a plus
- Outstanding leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor others
