Your Impact
If you are a good fit for this position, you understand most of what the job entails. However, to ensure we are providing enough information to help you make an informed decision, here are some details.You will lead the team responsible for the top of the candidate funnel, generating leads and lists for recruiters who do the outreach and vetting. The team will include around 14 onshore and offshore candidate generation specialists, an advertising coordinator and a posting resource. We will have processes in place and your focus will be on execution. At the same time, we'll welcome your suggestions for improving processes -- they will need to be robust and scalable.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Managing, coaching and mentoring your team, and supporting their professional development
- Researching and leveraging emerging and best-in-class technologies to increase the effectiveness of talent discovery, attraction, assessment, and improve our efficiency and conversion
- Ensuring effective and efficient processes
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs, and leveraging that data in performance management
- Identifying any training needs for the team
- Leveraging all sourcing channels and seeking out new ones
- Allocating resources effectively
- Partnering with other E2E RS sourcing leaders to ensure best practices across the organization
- Optimizing utilization of all tools and resources
- Brainstorming with the candidate generation team and leading research to drive continuous improvement

Your Background
Specific experience and knowledge will be essential, of course, but just as important will be a strong sense of values and a robust work ethic. To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. - Significant internet research experience, including the use of Boolean search, candidate generation, search engine and internet research resources
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies, including proactive direct sourcing, data mining, candidate/marketplace research and selection techniques
- Broad experience in sourcing; experience sourcing engineering talent is a strong plus
- Experience managing teams of at least eight people, and proven leadership and performance management skills
- Strong technical savvy, including the ability not only to learn new applications and systems quickly, but also to teach others how to use them
- The ability to work across functions and at all levels of the organization to collaborate and help influence action
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to plan strategy, develop tactics and perform root-cause analysis
- A servant-leader approach and a demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor others
- A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- A passion for impacting your team and the client's organization
- Strong intellectual horsepower as well as emotional intelligence
- Flexibility and adaptability as the program and new company grow and evolve
- The ability to manage multiple activities and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with high expectations
You will work from your home office at least partially, and need to have a relatively quiet, distraction-free environment, as well as a home office setup that incudes Internet access with speeds of at least 10 mbps up and down.
You also will need to be willing and able to travel for initial training, and occasionally for team and/or client meetings.
