Your Impact
If you're a good fit for this position, you know much of what the job entails. However, to be sure we are providing a well-rounded picture, here are some details.Reporting directly to the E2E RS Controller, you will join a team that includes two others who focus on AP, AR, Payroll and other areas. You will work closely with the Controller to handle a wide variety of accounting functions. We'll look to you to bring an unwavering sense of urgency to all that you do, from responding to client (internal and external) questions and requests to managing payout and invoicing details to supporting A/R efforts -- just about everything is a high priority. We'll provide on-the-job training in our systems and processes, and within a couple of weeks you should be fairly autonomous. Your responsibilities may include any of the following (although you'll only take on as much as you can handle at first):
- Assisting in month end close - journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules
- Supporting invoicing on assigned large accounts
- Processing invoices
- Supporting collections as needed
- Interacting with various E2E RS functional areas and corporate accounting teams
- Contacting clients as necessary
- Conducting regular and ad hoc analyses
- Handling ad hoc projects and other assignments
Your Background
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Staff Accountant opportunity, you will have:- A bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Solid experience as an accountant, preferably in a recruiting environment; experience in a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) organization would be ideal
- Experience in complex accounting environments, including MOST of the following:
- Month-end closing
- General ledger
- Account reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Journal entries
- Collections
- An understanding of how actions in one area of a system impact other areas, such as how journal entries impact P&Ls
- Truly brilliant skills in MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, filters, macros, etc. Quick question for you - click here
- Strong systems savvy; experience with JDEdwards is preferred
- Experience working directly with customers (internal and/or external) to resolve questions and problems
- Initiative and resourcefulness
