  • Providing input to the Implementation team to ensure operations and processes provide the data needed for various reports and analysis.
  • Providing regular and ad hoc reports to engagement leaders and executives.
This is a new role, so in all areas, we'll look to you to be innovative and take the initiative to design what you need. That may include incorporating new variables into analyses, monitoring new KPIs, increasing the frequency of reports -- and we're looking forward to hearing your good ideas.

Role Specifics

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and providing financial analysis on a regular basis to protect operating income and highlight areas of concern.
  • Developing profit and loss statements and business analyses for different aspects of the engagement.
  • Designing and continuously improving analytical reporting to highlight KPIs that drive business decisions and measure performance in a variety of areas (cost per hire, days to fill, margin analysis, client satisfaction, fill ratio, etc.).
  • Collaborating with the engagement teams to determine and design reporting specifications, both initially and as needs evolve.
  • Identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends that impact KPIs, both through standard reporting and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Partnering with Accounting and the engagement team to identify reporting deficiencies and data integrity issues to optimize data collection and automation of recurring reporting.
Note: this description is intended to give you a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive listing of duties and responsibilities.

Your Background

Specific experience and knowledge will be essential, of course, but just as important will be a strong sense of values and a robust work ethic. To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Financial / Operations Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in data or financial analysis.
  • Analytical experience in a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) or similar large talent acquisition organization.
  • Experience with quarterly business reports, dashboard creation, and high-level/executive reporting.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.). Quick question for you - click here
  • A proactive approach to ensuring accurate and timely data.
  • Experience in recruiting/talent acquisition is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATSs) is preferred.
  • Experience providing financial results to executive teams is a plus.
Just as important will be the following competencies and characteristics:
  • Very strong critical thinking skills to interpret analyses and provide recommendations.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • The ability to learn new processes, tools and systems quickly.
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to dig deeper into the data.
  • The ability to manage multiple activities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
You need to know

We want you to be aware of the following as you consider this opportunity.

Overall, every person at E2E RS is responsible for providing an excellent client experience by using the Extreme Service Hierarchy method (accuracy, timeliness, responsiveness, proactivity and mutual learning) to build quality relationships internally and externally.

You will work from your home office and need to have a relatively quiet, distraction-free environment, as well as a home office setup that includes Internet access with upload/download speeds of at least 10 mbps.

You'll need to be able to travel to California for at least a week for initial training.

This role follows peaks and valleys of our business. At times that will mean urgent deadlines. Generally speaking, the work can be completed during regular business hours. However, there may be times when weekend or evening work would be required. You'll also need to be flexible to interact with contacts in different time zones.

Keys2Excel

Servant Leadership, Passion and Grit

It should be clear by now that this client is creating a new company that is truly driven by values -- they are even providing values-specific training to ensure everyone is on the same page. We are committed to presenting candidates who demonstrate those values in their character and competencies. In order to do that, it won't be enough for you to talk the talk. We're looking for professionals who truly embody the following characteristics:
  • A servant-leader approach, whatever your level, including passion for supporting those around you, helping them grow professionally, uplifting their spirits and motivating them
  • Grit and resilience to work and deliver at a high level for extended periods
  • A big-picture perspective and faith that, with persistence and perseverance, those long-term goals can be attained
  • Integrity, honesty and transparency in action and communication
  • Tenacity, resourcefulness, strong self-motivation and willingness to go "above and beyond" the call of duty on a regular basis
  • Accuracy, timeliness and an obsessive commitment to quality
If you are looking for a pure number cruncher job, this probably isn't the role for you. You'll definitely do that, but the real value you'll bring will be in interpreting the numbers. We'll look to you to spot whatever looks out of place, identify trends and patterns, and recommend action steps based on your analyses. You'll need solid business savvy to understand what various users need from the reports and analyses, as well as a knack for presenting technical analytical results in ways that are easy to understand.

Many of the analyses will be complex, so you'll need strong problem-solving skills to make sense large amounts of data -- some of it conflicting -- in the absence of a lot of structure. In fact, you will add structure and implement efficiencies moving forward, but we don't expect that you ever will be able to do this job on auto pilot.
