Contract Recruiting Opportunity Focused on Sales Talent Acquisition
Engage2Excel Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Engineering Recruiter (Contract) to support ongoing hiring for a client organization. This opportunity is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys full‑cycle recruiting, strong hiring‑manager partnership, and owning delivery for business‑critical technical roles—without juggling multiple client environments.

This is a fully remote contract role. Some scheduling flexibility may be required to support candidates and stakeholders across U.S. time zones. This role will also be supporting hiring efforts in Canada; experience with Canadian hiring practices is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Fully remote within the United States
  • Scheduling flexibility may be needed to support international interview activity

Required Experience
  • Proven experience recruiting IT and engineering professionals across a range of technologies and levels
  • Strong full‑life‑cycle recruiting capability
  • Ability to effectively screen for technical skills, experience, and team fit
  • Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and relationship‑building skills
Preferred (but Not Required)
  • Background in agency or contract recruiting
  • Experience supporting fast‑paced or technical hiring environments
  • Familiarity with modern engineering roles, tools, and hiring trends
  • Comfort working with stakeholders across different time zones
  • Experience with Canadian hiring practices and laws

The Role
What You'll Do

Own Full‑Cycle Engineering Recruiting

  • Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle for IT and software engineering roles, from intake through offer acceptance
  • Recruit for a variety of technical positions, which may include software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, data, and other IT‑focused roles
  • Proactively source, engage, and assess technical candidates using outbound and inbound strategies

Partner Closely with Hiring Managers

  • Lead intake and calibration discussions to understand technical requirements, team needs, and success criteria
  • Provide timely candidate updates, feedback, and market insight
  • Serve as a consultative recruiting partner throughout the hiring process

Deliver a Strong Candidate Experience

  • Engage candidates with clear, professional, and timely communication
  • Guide candidates through interviews and next steps with transparency
  • Balance speed and quality in a fast‑moving environment

Operate Effectively in a Remote Environment

  • Support hiring activity across multiple U.S. time zones, adjusting schedules as needed
  • Manage priorities independently while staying aligned with hiring goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and recruiting activity within the ATS
