Are you a hands-on recruiter who understands the pace, people and priorities of construction hiring? Join Engage2Excel Recruitment Solutions as a Construction Recruiter and become the on-site recruiting partner for a major client in Amarillo, Texas.
In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for construction and project-based positions, building strong relationships with hiring leaders while sourcing, screening and guiding candidates through the selection process. You will work where the action is, gaining first-hand insight into workforce needs, jobsite realities and the talent required to keep critical work moving forward.
Own the full recruiting lifecycle from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers and onboarding coordination
Build targeted pipelines for construction, skilled trades, field operations and project-support talent
Partner on-site with client leaders to clarify priorities, calibrate candidate profiles and maintain hiring momentum
Create a responsive candidate experience through clear communication, organized follow-up and genuine relationship building
Use data and market insight to identify challenges, recommend solutions and improve recruiting results

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong preference for construction, engineering, industrial, skilled trades or other project-based hiring
Proven sourcing capability using job boards, social platforms, referrals, networking and direct outreach to reach active and passive candidates
Strong hiring-manager partnership skills including intake, calibration, expectation setting and consultative problem solving
Excellent communication and organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate recruiting activity
Sound candidate assessment skills and the judgment to evaluate experience, qualifications, motivation and jobsite fit
Ability to work on-site with the client in Amarillo, Texas
Preferred, but not required:
Experience recruiting for large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects
Knowledge of construction roles, certifications, safety requirements and regional labor markets
Experience in RPO, staffing, agency or embedded client recruiting environments
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting CRMs and recruiting analytics

As Construction Recruiter, you will serve as a dedicated recruiting partner to the client, translating workforce plans into focused recruiting action. You will combine day-to-day execution with a consultative approach, keeping candidates engaged, hiring leaders informed and the recruiting process moving with urgency and discipline.
Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned construction and project-related openings, from requisition intake through accepted offer
Conduct intake and calibration meetings to define required experience, credentials, work conditions and success factors
Develop role-specific sourcing strategies using market research, direct outreach, referrals, talent communities and local networking
Source and engage qualified candidates for skilled trades, field leadership, technical, safety, project controls, operations and support positions as assigned
Screen candidates thoroughly for relevant experience, certifications, availability, compensation alignment and motivation
Present qualified talent with clear recommendations and provide hiring leaders with concise, decision-ready candidate information
Coordinate interviews and next steps while maintaining consistent communication with candidates and the client team
Represent the client’s employment brand professionally and accurately throughout every candidate interaction
Maintain accurate ATS and recruiting records and monitor pipeline activity, aging, conversion and hiring progress
Provide labor-market insight on candidate availability, competitive conditions and potential barriers to hiring
Build local talent channels through relationships with trade schools, workforce organizations, associations, community partners and referral sources
Identify process improvements that strengthen speed, quality, candidate experience and hiring-manager satisfaction
