To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the In-Market Recruiter opportunity, you will have:
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience in a high-volume environment (i.e., weekly and monthly submittals). 
  • Excellent consultative skills and proven experience in all recruiting methods.

As In-Market Recruiter, you will build strong relationships with candidates (both internal and external), ensure optimal candidate experiences, and positively represent client opportunities and the employment brand. You'll also provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding candidate status. You'll recruit for all levels of positions, and take point on all aspects of recruiting, from gathering reqs through sourcing and interviewing to extending verbal offers. In addition to the qualifications listed under The Requirements Tab, you will need:
  • Extreme sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude in the use of business software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience in one (or more) of the following industries is preferred:
    • Manufacturing.
    • Distribution, warehouse or transportation.
    • Customer service.
You should expect to work daily at the client's site, although there also may be opportunities to work from home on occasion. You'll work regular business hours, starting between 7:30 and 8:30 each day.

More about the Role
In addition to the responsibilities described under The Role tab, your specific activities will fall into two areas. In the area of client and candidate management, you will:
  • Adhere to the client's RPO standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with legal requirements and labor laws.
  • Demonstrate good judgment to determine when unique situations require exceptions to SOPs.
    Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers and primary sourcing team contacts to understand the position requirements, set hiring manager expectations, and gather input regarding the sourcing approach.
  • Collaborate with sourcing team members to verify strategy for direct sourcing, internet, referral, campus, and agency channels.
  • Ensure high-quality candidates are sourced and submitted in a timely manner; keep hiring manager informed of sourcing progress.
With regard to assessing and interviewing candidates, you will:
  • Assume responsibility to implement staffing and recruiting processes, strategies, and solutions.
  • Conduct screening interviews, in person and/or via telephone, of candidates pre-qualified by the Sourcing team.
  • Provide feedback regarding candidate quality and sources to the Sourcing team on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead and manage the candidate interview-related processes.
